Doug was extremely helpful in helping us to find the perfect first house for my wife and me. We were passively looking for houses, reached out to one of the postings, and Doug reached out to set up a meeting within that week, came to our apartment, and discussed what we were looking for. He was very patient with us. There were times we would go to 7 to 8 houses and we didn't own a car but Doug was kind enough to pick us up every time, drive us to all the houses, and drop us back off at our apartment. Whenever we had a house we wanted to look at, even if it was short notice, Doug was able to set us up with an appointment for us to have a look. He is also very honest when looking at houses, telling us things to keep in mind, areas where renovations were done well or had taken shortcuts by using cheaper materials or unfinished areas, and was very knowledgeable about every aspect about home renovations, building, and owning a house. After a few months after our initial contact and several weekends of visiting different houses, we had found a house we really liked and was very conveniently located. Doug was able to help us get an appointment prior to the open house, helped us with the negotiation tactics, and wrote a kind letter for us to the seller that ultimately lead us to win the bid on the house. We had an extremely great experience with Doug and would highly recommend to anyone.
